The first ever British Club Fight Night took place on March 27 on the back lawn of the club and combined a sit-down dinner with a card of boxing matches that included both conventional boxing and muay thai, or Thai boxing. The 100 or so spectators were treated to a well-done three-course dinner, plenty of good wine and an ample supply of Pure Blonde beer which was one of the major sponsors of the event and also provided the lovely round girls for the evening.
